Philosophy Academy School

Sarah Stockstill

Founder & Director

Sarah has worked in various school settings with a vast range of ages for over 20 years.  She also managed cognitive, test preparation, and academic learning centers for over 12 years. She attended the University of Kansas and received a Bachelors in Social Work. She transitioned to Northeastern State University where she earned a teaching certificate in grades 5 through 9.

Christina Autiero

Instructor

Christina received her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at Manhattanville College and her Master of Arts in Education at Hunter College in New York City. She previously taught seventh and eighth grade at One World Middle School in the Bronx and has been teaching for over 5 years. She is currently studying at Rhema Bible College.

Caitlin graduated from Harding University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. She previously taught Anatomy and Physiology and General Biology for Ozarks Technical Community College in Springfield, MO and has more than 5 years of experience tutoring science, math, and Spanish courses.

Alex Remy

Instructor

Alex earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Education from the University of Tulsa. She is certified to teach Advanced Mathematics and has been teaching for 7 years.

Whitney Bennett
Instructor

Whitney received her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Tulsa. Over the years she has taught reading to preschoolers and elementary-age children. She enjoys helping children fall in love with and build their confidence through reading. She loves creating a hands-on learning environment for elementary school-aged children. Philosophy has helped her grow as an instructor by allowing her the opportunity to customize the curriculum to fit the needs of her students. Currently she has returned to school to get her masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Christina Parris
Instructor

Christina has a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Oral Roberts University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She has worked in college admissions and has over 13 years in Human Resources for a large energy company where she worked in Compensation, Consulting and Recruiting. She knows what colleges and employers want and can advise parents and students on the many options and choices after college. She helps families with the entire process starting from researching colleges, major selection, career discussions all the way to keeping students on track with applications, essays and scholarships.

Spencer Reynolds
Instructor

Spencer received his Bachelors of Arts in Arts and Technology from UT Dallas. He has worked as a game designer, as well as a creative director on many UI design projects. He has a passion for math, technology, and teaching. He teaches a range of basic math to calculus.

Ashley Martin
Instructor

Ashley received her Associates of Science and her Paramedic certification at the university of Arkansas community college. She has experience as a paramedic but found her calling in pediatrics. She has learned from her career to always be ready to adapt, knowing from experience things can change at the drop of a hat. Ashley also has a love for art and science. She is passionate when it comes to helping kids grow creatively. Her hope is to pique children's curiosity and make them want to come back and learn more each day!

Jennifer Right
Instructor

Jennifer received a Bachelors in Elementary Education from Northeastern State University. Jennifer's teaching philosophy is to nuture young minds and inspire lifelong learning. She believes that every child has his/her own unique strengths and we should focus on bringing out the best in them. Jennifer is excited to work at Philosophy Tulsa and build relationships with students and their families.

Danny Turpin 
Instructor

Danny is a social studies teacher here at Philosophy! He is from Lansing, Michigan and previously taught high school history in Lansing. Danny graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelors of Science in Group Social Studies, and obtained his Graduate Teaching Certification from GVSU. Danny is currently a student at Rhema Bible Training College pursuing his ordination in the ministry, becoming a Bible teacher, and traveling minister. Danny loves Jesus, his beautiful wife Reilly, and his baby boy Isaiah, very much! He gives all the credit and glory to God!

Jennifer Proffit
Instructor

Jennifer graduated from Oral Robert's University with an Elementary Education degree and taught for Union Public Schools, a private school, ESL online, and her greatest joy, homeschooling her own two children. She enjoys the variety of students and subjects that she gets to work with at Philosophy. Jennifer enjoys baking, traveling, and being her daughter's horse wrangler.

Bailey Wright
Instructor

Bailey received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Early Childhood from Oral Roberts University. Her philosophy is based on meeting students at their needs and believing that every student can achieve greatness. She enjoys reading, writing, art, and animals!
